I used this guy i my team at 4231 formation at left cam 10 matches 18 goals and 7 assists.I think this is the best cam i have used so far his wf and sm are very good and his 92 curve is incredible (sorry for my english)
I used him at 10 chem with engine. His pace is very good for a cam.I have used hulk as well and as i can say talisca is much better than hulk and dybala(89 rated) his positioning is amazing I always see him in his position and his free kick are so good. His stamina is ok as he get tired in 75th minute. His long shots are amazing.
Over the past few days I have seen a lot of people asking if this new Talisca card is a huge upgrade from his IF and if he is actually solid in game as his stats do suggest. The answer to both those questions is YES. He is one of the better CAM/CF/STs I have used and he costed virtually nothing. Here is the overall review on him:
Pace (8.0/10): Let's start off with his pace. His pace seems to be great depending on the position you are playing him in. As a middle CAM or a F9 CF, it is superb, I played him in those two positions for a dozen games and I had no problem. Although, if you play him further up the field as a ST, you will notice he is a bit slow compared to the standard of CBs everyone has now in DIV 3 and 2/WL, it is not unusable but do not be surprised if Van Dijk catches up to him.
Dribbling(8.5/10): His dribbling is better than I actually expected. You can see flaws in his dribbling in his IF such as low agility and balance which made him turn like an 18-wheeler but you don't find those problems in his Carniball card, he gets a +4 boost in the dribbling stat and it shows. He is silky smooth turn out of La Croqs and fake shots and can beat most players off the dribble. I do suggest putting a chemstyle that will boost his dribbling such as Engine and Sniper because at times he does feel a bit slow but you can expect that from 6'3 Brazilian Tree.
Shooting (9/10): What I noticed the most between his IF and Carniball Card is the shooting stat, he gets a +3 in all IG stats so it is apparent that there will be a big boost but it is actually HUGE ingame. He seems to bang in goals from all angles, finesse or volleys, it doesn't matter, it will go in. His finishing is very consistent now which seemed to be the only downside in his shooting cause his Long Shots are already fucking lightning bolts.
Defending (7.5/10): His defending is alright but just alright. He is not anything great in a defensive such as a CDM but his height and long legs do help him make great interceptions and stand tackles in the opponent's defensive third which can come in clutch in the dying mins of the game. I would not recommend him as a CDM even with a chem style such as shadow as he seems to be out of position most of the time, probably because of his workrates and marking which is only 67.
Passing (9.5/10): HOLY SHIT, this man can pass. He has the vision and passing ability of Prime Andrea Pirlo and I shit you not he will find anyone on the pitch no matter where they are. Although his passing stats are rather average when compared to other players with high passing stats such as Modric and Kroos off the top of my head but in game, it is very different. He rarely ever misplaces a pass and can playmake superbly from a CAM/CF role.
Physicality (8/10): Now this is the stat that makes most people go "meh he looks great but look at his PHY stat." They might look very meh but depending on the role you play him, it all depends. His jumping is at a mere 57 but with his height, it does not hinder his ability to head the ball, he will beat most player under 6'2 on a heading challenge. His stamina is bad but not the worst, he can last a full 90 playing at ST on "Stay Forward" instructions but will need to be subbed off around the 70th min mark if you decide to play him at CAM/CF/CDM. His strength is at a 78 which is quite average but with his monstrous height, he can hold the ball with comfort against most FBs and DMs. His aggression is at a 70 which is not great but not totally useless, he will do a solid job pressuring the opponent's defence.
WF and SMs: Both are 4/4 which is really great for a player in his role. He feels smooth coming off of SMs such as Berba spins, La Croqs, Ball rolls, etc. His WF is great, he can pass and shoot with his right perfectly fine and is very consistent with his weaker foot.
Best Chemstyle: Now this all comes down to preference. I use a SNIPER on him but I have tried other chemstyle such as Hunter,Engine, Maestro and Deadeye but I feel like Sniper brings the most out of the card as more of a playmaking player.
Overall (9/10): Overall, he is a great player that will do good in almost any team regardless of your playstyle. WOuld I change my team just for this one card? I would and I have and I don't regret it. I have only played him in DIv 3/2 and WL(2). He got me to my goal of Gold 3 with the least amount of games (for me) which was 15, he is the definition of unstoppable when used right. I highly recommend him and I hope this review helped anyone on the edge of putting him into an SBC or letting him stay in your club collecting dust.
Team he is being played in: Switch to 4-2-2-2 in game with him and Hulk playing ST.
